This is day three sugar-free, because I have finally faced the truth that sugar is NOT so sweet for my health. You name the dysfunction or disease- sugar can cause it or make it worse.
I haven’t consumed processed sugar or cane sugar for quite a while- but I also gave up honey, agave, molasses, and natural sweetener while I clean out.
As sugar is 10x more addictive than cocaine, I know the facts below won’t be enough for some to quit sugar. It is a change of mind and a change of lifestyle. Breaking addictive behavior is worth it if you can manage a week or two of discomfort!

Just some issues associated with sugar overload: heart disease, dementia, depression, acne, vitamin and mineral deficiency, adrenal dysfunction, hormone imbalance, diabetes and obesity. Sugar feeds Candida, a systemic fungal infection that destroys our immune system (takes over our gut- crowding out good microbes) and creates sugar cravings. Sugar also feeds borrelia burgdorferi- one of the bacteria involved in Lymes disease.

Green Juice Ingredients
1/2 bunch Italian kale
handful of mâché rosettes (green lettuce)
1 green apple
4 celery stalks
1/2 lemon juice
few sprigs of mint
Juice all ingreidents together, add more of any ingredient for taste.
